Custom Jewelry in any design and price level

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

The craftsmen at Images Jewelers pride themselves on providing custom jewelry of the highest quality and value. From the smallest ring, to the largest necklace, the craftsmen at Images Jewelers will take your idea and mold it into a beautiful creation. We have nearly 100 years of collective experience in providing our clients with the finest crafted jewelry available.

Custom jewelry comes in many shapes, sizes and price levels. In it’s most basic sense, custom jewelry has three distinct levels.

  • Level 1: Good - Assembled jewelry (or stock jewelry) using mass produced parts and standard gem sizes.
  • Level 2: Better - Zero Atmosphere vaccum casting and finishing.
  • Level 3: Best - Hand fabricated from raw materials.

Each level of custom jewelry design brings with it a new set of price points, design options, and style options. In many cases there are also cross over features where we may use a stock head in a custom ring or hand fabricated parts in a casting. These categories are not exclusive, but they do allow us the opportunity to design a ring to your needs.

To help you deicde how you want your custom jewelry created for you, we’ve created several pages to help explain what each level can do for you. If you ever have any questions please call us here at the store or send us an email, either way that you feel most comfortable and we would be delighted to help.

Gold Playstation 3 for sale

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

Sony is known for making killer electronic devices and gadgets. When it created the original PlayStation, gamers were amazed. The latest follow up to the PlayStation is PS3. It is a feature rich and advanced gaming console that has seriously powerful hardware. Sony also offers Blu-Ray playback with the PS3. There are a few versions of PS3 available in the market and the console has found many takers among the avid gamers.

For those that need something no one else has a 24k gold plated version of the system is being offered. It looks stylish and gorgeous for sure but to take it home a buyer needs to shell out a whopping amount of $5000. However, there will probably not be many takers for a Gold PS3. The US economy has recovered from one of its worst times and now might not be the best time to be selling a gold PS3.

How to sell your old gold jewelry.

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

Many customers are asking us ‘How do I sell my gold?’, ‘What’s the Best Way to Sell Gold?’, ‘How can I get the most for my gold?’ or ‘Who pays most for gold?’.

Our answer is sell it to us here at the store because not only will you be paid the most for it, but after we get it refined we make new jewelry with it so you are helping the planet as well. The next question we are faced with is: ‘How do I know your store pays the most’? I can tell you we pay the most, but that means nothing to most people, so we did a little investigating and came up with this report.

We contacted five Gold Buyers:

GoldPaq.com

BrokenGold.com

Cash4Gold.com

GoldKit.com

Our own store: Images Jewelers

We compared them for ease of contact, response, gold price offered, return time for payment and return time for item when payment was declined.
In all cases we followed the recommended online instructions (and TV advertising if we saw it) and we also sent in an identical item that was 14K gold to each.

And the Results of our Gold Buyer Comparison test are in:

5. Cash4Gold.com
Time to receive ‘mail in kit’: 5 days
Time to receive check in mail:22 days
Amount of check:$8.85
Time to receive item back after returning check:7 days
Ease of contact:Good
Response:Good
Total time spent to get item back 34 days

4. GoldPaq.com
Time to receive ‘mail in kit’ :5 days
Time to receive check in mail: 11 days
Amount of check: $7.46
Time to receive item back after returning check: 19 days
Ease of contact: Good
Response Good
Total time spent to get item back 35 days

3. GoldKit.com
Time to receive ‘mail in kit’:5 days
Time to receive check in mail: 11 days
Amount of check:$7.50
Time to receive item back after returning check: 14 days
Ease of contact:Good
Response:Good
Total time spent to get item back:30 days

2. BrokenGold.com
Time to receive ‘mail in kit’:5 days
Time to receive check in mail:11 days
Amount of check:$10.50
Time to receive item back after returning check:11 days
Ease of contact:Good
Response:Good
Total time spent to get item back:27 days

So far pretty much the same, BrokenGold is leading the pack with payment and slightly better return service but this is where it gets starts getting interesting….
