It has recently been exposed that Eric Blake, the subject was found out to have actually “salted” the areas with diamonds he had imported from India. He did this to make a profit, as Arkansas Diamonds are worth MUCH MORE than similar diamonds from India.

I see a massive loophole in the settlement for the lawyers and DeBeers. There is a $10 minimum payout. If your share does not equal at least $10, you will not get a check at all. So it's in DeBeers best interest to have as many people as possible apply for their fair share of the cut. I wonder how many people will fall in the $9 range. I wanted to follow up on this post of Shawn’s.
