I see a massive loophole in the settlement for the lawyers and DeBeers. There is a $10 minimum payout. If your share does not equal at least $10, you will not get a check at all. So it's in DeBeers best interest to have as many people as possible apply for their fair share of the cut. I wonder how many people will fall in the $9 range.
